Physical documentation subject: Emotion

Cameras are by design scientific instruments of documentation. Tools bound to capturing the tangible light. A tool with directionless pursuit bound to the guided pursuit of its user.

The essence of what we choose to photograph comes down to how the moment: a crafted and composed scene; or through serendipity in the wild. It comes down to the emotional resonance we have with what is within the viewfinder.

As i increase my efforts in intentionally curating this conceptual project I have in mind, it has proven increasingly difficult; having already made peace with these negative emotions, bringing them back to the surface is no easy task.

Here is a peak into the feeling of the fatigue in a city.

The ever faceless strangers

Strangers we do not hold any care for.

Sea of strangers

A never ending crowd of people you push past on a regular basis

Perceived Stagnantion

The exhaustion from the loss of desires and pursuit

Every day i wondered, how could so many people come to terms with how we live, Is it the loss of desire that landed us spinning in this never ending daily loop? What was different from my lens which i could never see past the dirt around every corner? Perhaps the energy i laid my eyes on were just a reflection of what i held closely. Criticisms could be endless, but endless were the positive outlooks i could hold.
